1. Can you tell us a bit about yourself, your career and what inspires you?My name is Merylin Ramirez, and I’m a professional makeup artist and hairstylist based in the Coachella Valley. I specialize in creating personalized beauty experiences for brides, quinceañeras, and anyone looking to feel their absolute best. I’ve always believed that beauty is powerful—it’s not just about how we look, but how we feel. What inspires me most is helping women feel confident, radiant, and celebrated in their own skin.

2. What are your top three passions outside of work?Outside of my career, I’m passionate about cooking (I run a small side hustle called Coco’s Kitchen!), spending quality time with my family and pets, and continuously learning, whether that’s through beauty education or personal growth.

3. What’s one quirky or unexpected thing about you that most people don’t know?Most people don’t know that I’m actually very shy! Despite being in such a social and creative industry, I’m more of an introvert at heart—but I’ve learned to let my work speak for me and connect me to amazing people.

4. Describe your perfect weekend getaway. Where would you go and what would you do?My perfect weekend getaway would be a peaceful, sunny day by the pool—somewhere just like The Muse Hotel. I’d start the morning with a good coffee, soak up the sun, and completely unwind with my favorite playlist in the background. No pressure, no deadlines, just good vibes, fresh air, and a refreshing drink in hand. I think there’s something magical about giving yourself permission to simply be and recharge.
