Muse of the Month – April 2025: Angela Garzon 🌸

Spring is all about new beginnings, fresh inspiration, and bold self-expression—so it’s only fitting that this month’s Muse embodies all of that and more. Meet Angela Garzon, our April 2025 Muse of the Month, a San Diego-based brand photographer whose work blossoms with artistry, color, and imagination.

Whether she’s behind the camera or planning her next creative adventure, Angela lives with intention and leads with heart. Her love of art, style, and storytelling captures the spirit of the season—and the essence of what we celebrate here at The Muse.

Can you tell us a bit about yourself, your career and what inspires you?

A: I'm a brand photographer based in San Diego, CA. I love art, traveling, and really value creativity in all aspects of my life. I feel like I am an artist at heart first and foremost, but photography is my current medium of expression.

What are your top three passions outside of work?

A: Definitely art, fashion/style, and travel.

What’s one quirky or unexpected thing about you that most people don’t know?

A: I don't know if it's quirky per se, but I am very sentimental—I cry during most episodes of Great British Baking Show. It's just so wholesome. I also lift! My current 1 rep bench press is 160 lb 💪

If you could design a themed room for our hotel, what theme would you choose and why?

A: Ooooh okay, not sure if choosing a fictional character is against the rules but it’s got to be Amélie. It was one of my favorite movies as a teen. I could really relate to her quiet and shy nature but with a huge imagination. I was painfully shy as a kid and just loved how she was able to communicate with others in her own quirky way to either make their lives better or deliver her own form of justice. Also, the art direction is superb—I want to live in that movie!

If it had to be a real person, perhaps Florence Welch (of Florence + the Machine). She’s just such an amazing artist with insane personal style.
